Professor Yoland Lim Health Care Centre has three distinct buildings on site- each dedicated to a specific area of care. 

The three buildings are:

Our GP services are located at the MEDICAL CENTRE building.

We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community, and all consultations are privately billed. 

Repeat prescriptions

All prescriptions (including repeats) require a telehealth or face-to-face appointment. 

To request a repeat prescription, please speak with our reception team on 03 98870566. Please let reception know if it’s urgent.

Test results

Results from tests—including blood tests, X-rays, scans, and biopsies—are typically received within 3 to 7 days, depending on the type of test and when it was performed.

We highly recommend booking a follow-up appointment at the time your test is arranged, so you can discuss the results with the doctor once they become available.

In line with best medical practice, your results will be discussed with you by the referring doctor. After this consultation, a copy of your results can be released to you if requested. Results will not be released prior to your appointment to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Please note that reception and nursing staff are not permitted to provide results over the phone.

What if my results are normal or non-urgent?

Even if the results are normal, the doctor may need to assess you to determine whether further examination/investigations are required. They may also want to discuss options and next steps to ensure a high level of care. Your doctor needs dedicated time to focus on providing the best care for you. 

What if my results are urgent?

For critical or very urgent results, we will contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we may contact your emergency contact.

Victorian Virtual Emergency

Access telehealth emergency care for non-life-threatening emergencies from anywhere in Victoria.

Our clinical sessions rely on the structure of daily pre-booked appointments to efficiently treat our patients and give high quality care; therefore, you may not be able to call and speak immediately with the Doctor.

We welcome you to call and speak to our reception staff, they will guide you through the available options based on your reason for calling.

Please note, our emails are checked by reception staff periodically but are not constantly monitored throughout the day. We endeavour to respond to all emails within 3 business days.

As independent medical practitioners, each doctor has complete autonomy in clinical decision making, in whom they refer patients to, and to which pathology and diagnostic imaging services they refer. 

Sometimes a third party will ask you to have forms filled out by your doctor. Examples of these include, but are not limited to: immunisation certificates, Centrelink forms, NDIS matters, school camp, asthma plans, anaphylaxis plans, etc. Please make a GP appointment for the completion of these documents.

We provide home visit services to pre-approved Aged Care Facilities.

Reception staff can arrange free language interpreters via the Translating & Interpreter Service for your appointment if required.

Auslan interpreters via NSLP can be arranged by hearing impaired patients or by reception. 

Please request these well in advance with our reception team; or advise our team if an interpreter is attending your appointment with you.

At times, our doctors may be away for conferences or study leave to stay up to date with the latest in medical care.
